I have noticed that aging can be quite an experience. After visiting the home of a home delivered meal client, the importance of the Golden Age Centers is much more meaningful. Sometimes people don’t take the time to realize that life can be so much more of a blessing with a little bit of help. The 86 year old woman that I visited was very thankful for the services that the Golden Age Centers provides for her. She has very limited mobility and very little family or friends to help, so a hot meal everyday is very beneficial to her daily nutrition. Working for the Golden Age Centers and visiting the homes of clients has really impacted the way I view the aging process. Assistance is something that so many elderly people need and we can all help. You too can donate or volunteer your services to the Golden Age Centers.
