The Golden Age Centers (GAC) embraces May as Older Americans Month, continuing to celebrate the achievements of older adults and provide support, as needed. Every day, the Golden Age Centers provide an average of 1,200 senior citizens in Greater Cleveland with:
A hot nutritious lunch meal, either in a group or home delivered setting.
Transportation to and from GAC senior centers and to critical appointments.
Enriching, educational, and fun recreational, cultural and socialization opportunities to reduce isolation.
Rewarding volunteer opportunities.
Critical health screenings.
A friendly and professional staff to lend a hand in times of need.
